Dr. Karen Steele, Ph.D., C. Psych.

Dr. Karen Steele is a Toronto-based psychologist, providing services to children, adolescents, and parents.   She has extensive experience with learning, academic, attention and social-emotional issues. Karen obtained a PhD in psychology from the School and Child Clinical Psychology Program at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of The University of Toronto (OISE/UT) in 1984. She has been licensed with the College of Psychologists in Ontario since 1985. After 17 years working as a psychologist for the Toronto District School Board, Karen has been in private practice for nearly 15 years. Karen conducts comprehensive psychoeducational and social-emotional assessments, works with parents and teachers, consults to schools and provides brief intervention to children. She also offers parent counselling and coaching.
